When a child is misbehaving, the child is told what he or she is doing and why it is inappropriate.

If the child deliberately repeats the behavior, refer the situation to the Staff. The teacher will ask the child to sit away from the group for a period of time* or until the child has regained control of him or herself (*As a rule, one minute for every year of the child’s age is used).
